Saint-Dié-des-Vosges

A lively student city in the natural park of Les Vosges!

Saint-Dié-des-Vosges is a city of 20,000 inhabitants located between Nancy and Strasbourg. It is the world capital of Geography and, as such, hosts the renowned International Festival of Geography (FIG) – the biggest global event in the field – every year, attracting prominent figures and thousands of visitors.

This environment is suited to a multitude of “nature” activities including skiing (slopes 20 minutes away), horse riding, mountain biking, hiking and golf. Many infrastructures have been developed (stadiums, gymnasiums, swimming pools, tennis courts, etc.) and clubs are generally dynamic, thereby contributing to the city’s sports reputation.

Culture is also very present. Various cultural places are accessible: cinemas, media libraries, art schools, museums, etc.

Although Saint-Dié-des-Vosges is an average-sized city, it is nonetheless able to compete in terms of attractiveness. This translates into an ease of living that is well-appreciated by students who benefit from pleasant study conditions in a friendly environment.
