The mountains are my field of expertise and, after taking this course, I was quickly able to find a permanent employment contract as a multi-task officer in charge of communication.

A PROFESSIONALISING COURSE

The Professional Degree is truly designed to promote professional integration. Below are some of the degree’s key aspects:

  • 450 hours of training
  • 30% of lessons dispensed by professionals
  • Project-based pedagogy
  • Tutored project
  • Work placement
  • Possible sandwich course

Initially created for quick integration on the job market, this professional degree enables students to find work with a Baccalaureat and a 3-year university degree. Thus, the primary aim of this degree is not the continuation of studies. However, under certain conditions, the subsequent pursuit of a Master’s degree or enrolling in a business school are also options.

WORK PLACEMENT

The end-of-studies work placement is carried out over 14 weeks and may be optionally extended to end on a date prior to the jury date. This work placement enables students to develop the knowledge and skills acquired at the IUT, to gain awareness of a socio-professional environment and to clarify their career prospects.

Possible international placement: watch the video of Emilie Majorel who performed her Professional Degree work placement in Greece.
